We Race What We Build
FDF Raceshop Educational Displays exist to make suspension theory click. Each one is a working model you can pick up and move with your hands, so instead of reading about a concept or watching a simulation, you watch it happen in front of you. Sits well on a desk, a shop bench, a trailer shelf, or a classroom table.
Roll center is the one that gets talked about most and understood least. It isn't a fixed point you bolt in, it's a construction, and it moves the second the suspension does. This display shows you where it comes from on a strut car: the line off the strut, the line through the lower arm, where those two meet, and how that traces back to a point on the centerline. Relocate the arm at either end, cycle the suspension up and down, roll the body over, and watch the point wander. Then move the center of gravity and watch the distance between the two open up and close.
What you walk away with is a real understanding of roll center migration, and why a car that felt planted at one ride height can feel like a different car an inch lower. The adjustable center of gravity is the part that ties it together, because roll center on its own means very little until you can see how far the mass sits above it. It's a teaching aid rather than a setup tool, so it won't spit out numbers for your chassis. What it does is take a diagram you've squinted at a hundred times and turn it into something you've watched move in your own hands.

Really like the three educational tools I purchased. Have already demonstrated the Wishbone one to friends.
