For gasoline, the cost-effective 10-micron cellulose insert works well, while for ethanol, methanol, or race fuels, opt for the durable 10- or 100-micron stainless steel inserts. These stainless steel filters resist corrosion and feature welded end caps, eliminating issues with glue dissolving in harsh fuels.
